Journey to Easter 2010

Edgefield United Methodist Church held its annual Journey to Easter on Saturday, March 28, 2010, from 1pm to 4pm. The Journey is a walk through the events of Holy Week. Groups of 8-10 were led through the tour at 10 minute intervals. Visitors experienced the triumphal entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem. They also traveled through the city streets and witnessed the miracles of Jesus, took part in the Last Supper, shared in Jesus’ sorrow in the Garden of Gethsemane, and witnessed the arrest and trial of Jesus before Pilate. The Journey ended with the story of Jesus’ death on the cross and the celebration of His resurrection! Additionally, there were crafts and snacks after the Journey.
